CM Punjab Advocates Strengthening Pak-Japan Ties in Trade and Investment

Tokyo: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has emphasised expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Japan, particularly focusing on trade and investment. She shared these insights during a meeting with Japan’s Senior State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Miyaji Takuma, in Tokyo today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz highlighted Japan as a symbol of economic, technological, and social progress. She praised its traditions and values as exemplary for Pakistan. The meeting underscored the potential for collaboration in various sectors, aiming to enhance mutual benefits for both nations.

Miyaji Takuma extended a warm welcome to Maryam Nawaz, congratulating her on her historic achievement as the first female chief minister of Punjab. He applauded her leadership and the successful launch of over 120 development projects in the province, indicating a promising future for Pak-Japan relations.
