Commerce Minister to participate in Inaugural Ceremony of New Gate at Wahga Border

Islamabad: Senior Minister for Commerce Mr. Makhdoom Amin Fahim reached India yesterday (April 12, 2012) night. He is on his three day visit to India, which includes bilateral trade talks, Pakistan Lifestyle Exhibition and opening of new gate at Wahga border. Indian Commerce Minister, Indian Secretary Commerce and other high officials received and welcomed the Senior Minister of Pakistan and his delegation on their arrival at Delhi Airport.

The senior commerce minister and the delegation participated in dinner, arranged by Indian counterpart Anand Sharma. The ministers from both sides did speeches after the dinner. They highlighted the potential of trade between the two countries in their speech.

The Senior Commerce Minister will go to Amritsar for the Inaugural Ceremony of New Gate at Wahga Border later today around 3:45 pm, through a special flight.
