Compensation cheques distributed among legal heir of collapse of building in Moosa Lane

Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today distributed the compensation cheques to legal legal heirs of those who were died or injured in incident of collapse of 5- floor Kasr-e-Ruqayya building in Moosa Lane, Lyari Karachi on 04 August 2011, at Chief Minister House. Those who were present on the occasion included Sindh Agriculture Minister Syed Ali Nawaz Shah, Sindh Minister for Irrigation Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Mr. Saleem Hingoro MPA, Mr. Najmi Alam President PPP Karachi, Mr.Saeed Ghani General Secretary PPP Karachi, Mr. Waqar Mehdi, Mr. Qasim Baloch, Mr. M. Siddique Abu Bhai; Senior Member, Board of Revenue Sindh Mr Chazar Shamon, DCO Karachi Mr. Muhammad Hussain Syed, Secretary to CM Mr. Alamuddin Bullo and others. Chief Minister Sindh expressing his deep grief and sorrows on demise of those ill-fated people.

He assured that the affected people will be looked after by the Government. DCO Karachi on the occasion informed that in all 32 people were killed and 14 were injured in that accident. Chief Minister Sindh distributed compensation cheques to Sultan, Muhammad Siddique, Muhammad Hussain, Yaseem Farooq (For four victims), Muhammad Yousuf S/o Kara, Muhammad Yousif S/o M. Hussain (for two victims), Muhammad Hanif, Abdul Ghafoor (for two victims) Abdul Aziz and Faisal, Chief Minister Sindh also met each recipient and inquired about their problems. The remaining compensation cheques were distributed by Mr. Saleem Hingoro MPA among legal heirs of 22 deceased and 10 injured person at the office of DCO Karachi.
