Congress Criticizes Exit Polls as ‘Bogus’, Alleges Effort to Justify Rigging

New Delhi, The Congress party has openly dismissed recent exit polls as “bogus” and a part of a deliberate attempt to justify potential election rigging. Party leaders assert that these polls are used as psychological tools by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demoralize supporters of the INDIA alliance.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, speaking from the AICC headquarters, criticized what he described as “pressure tactics” by Prime Minister Modi. These tactics included a lengthy brainstorming session to review the first 100 days of the anticipated new government, signaling to the bureaucracy and administrative structures a foregone conclusion of Modi’s return to power.

Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi also responded to the exit polls, which largely predict a significant victory for the BJP-led NDA. Gandhi contested the results, labeling them “a Modi media poll” rather than a reflection of the true voter sentiment. He expressed confidence that the INDIA alliance would secure 295 seats in the elections.
