Chatra: A member of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) took his own life in Chatra district, Jharkhand, using his service rifle.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred under circumstances that are still being investigated by local authorities. The officer, whose name has not been released, reportedly shot himself and was found by his colleagues.

Following the incident, the body was sent for a postmortem examination to determine the precise cause of death, as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the suicide.
