Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has pledged to develop the province into a leading center for digital technology. During a meeting with Huawei Pakistan’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Yu Shaoning, she committed to creating a supportive environment for technological innovation and investment.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions focused on strategic cooperation to enhance Punjab’s digital capabilities. The Chief Minister reviewed proposals to leverage Huawei’s technical expertise to accelerate the digitization processes across the province, emphasizing the importance of modernizing infrastructure and fostering a competitive tech sector.
