Dar Extends Invitation to Erdogan for Strategic Meeting in Pakistan

Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed an invitation to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Pakistan for the upcoming 7th High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the invitation was extended during a collective call of D-8 Foreign Ministers following the Extraordinary Meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers on the Situation in Gaza. President Erdogan was briefed on the discussions and outcomes of the meeting.

Dar expressed appreciation for Türkiye’s role in hosting the crucial ministerial meeting and lauded President Erdogan’s efforts in advancing Pakistan-Türkiye bilateral relations. He also conveyed greetings from prominent Pakistani leaders, emphasizing the significance of Erdogan’s visit to further strengthen strategic ties between the two nations.
