Islamabad: The National Tennis Team (Davis Cup players) called on the Federal Minister for Sports and SAFRON, Engr. Shaukat Ullah at his office, Pakistan Sports Board, Islamabad. The President, Pakistan Tennis Federation, Mr. Kaleem Imam introduced the team players, Coach and other Officials to the Minister.
On this occasion Minister appreciated the recent performance of Pakistan in the Sports of Tennis. Minister wished the team best of luck in their future endeavours and offered them all out support as Federal Minister SAFRON.
The Minister expressed his views on the importance of Sports in countering extremism and terrorism. Also give his views on the importance of Sports in the overall development of any country.
The President of the Federation proposed that there could be some exhibition matches at FATA. Which the Minister agreed.
The President of the PTF thanked the Minister for taking out time in meeting the players and official which will give them a lot of encouragement.
