Decomposed body of Kashmiri man found in Kulgam

Srinagar, June 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): A semi-decomposed body of a man was spotted in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Locals spotted the body at Gassirana area of the district and informed the police, who rushed to the spot and took the body into the possession. Upon searching, an Identity card was found from the pocket of the deceased.

“The identity card mentioned his name as Fayaz Ahmed Lone, 45, son of Mohammed Abdullah Lone, who is a resident of Khokharhama in Kulgam,” police said. It is worth mentioning here that there are growing incidents of recovery of dead bodies of Kashmiris under suspicious circumstances since the Modi regime scrapped Kashmir’s special status in August 2019.
