Delhi Father Arrested After Accidental Fatal Shooting of Daughter

New Delhi: A tragic incident occurred in northwest Delhi’s Model Town where a seven-year-old girl was accidentally shot dead by her father while he was handling his pistol.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Delhi Police responded to the incident by arresting the father, identified as Deepak Kumar. Following the shooting, Kumar had buried the body near his residence. Investigations revealed that Kumar, who is already implicated in two criminal cases including an attempt to murder, was in possession of an unlicensed pistol.

The local authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the shooting and Kumar’s prior legal violations.
