Delhi High Court Reserves Judgment on Kejriwal’s Bail Plea in Excise Scam Case

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has put off making a decision on the bail application submitted by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is implicated in a corruption case related to the alleged excise policy scam.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Justice Neena Bansal Krishna reserved the court’s decision following presentations from the counsel representing both Kejriwal and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The CBI has contested Kejriwal’s plea for bail, labeling him as the central figure of the excise scam and expressing concerns that his release might lead to the tampering of witness testimonies.
