Deputy PM Ishaq Dar Outlines Government Measures for Economic Stability and Medical Education Reform

Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted the government’s efforts towards economic stability and improvements in medical education during the first convocation of HBS Medical and Dental College. He detailed the formation of a new committee aimed at evaluating and addressing the demand and supply gap in the country’s medical education sector.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing accessible and affordable healthcare facilities for all. He noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has initiated various measures to strengthen medical education, enhance faculty qualifications, and upgrade medical infrastructure.

Dar underscored the government’s adoption of significant steps to achieve an economic turnaround, expressing confidence in Pakistan’s progress towards greater economic prosperity, aligning with the visions of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of making sincere efforts for Pakistan to join the G20 and refuted claims by critics that Pakistan remains isolated on the international stage.
