Dewan Cement Experiences Notable Trading Volume on PSX

Karachi, Dewan Cement closed higher in a day of significant trading activity on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), as reported on 29 May 2024. The company’s shares opened at 11.13 and closed at 11.38 after fluctuating between a low of 10.02 and a high of 10.13 throughout the trading day. A total of 15,920,722 shares were traded, with the closing price settling at 11.02.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Dewan Cement has been actively traded in various futures as well. The July futures for Dewan Cement, coded as DCL-JUL, remained static, opening and closing at 10.49 with exactly 500 shares traded, and a final price of 10.51.

Furthermore, the June futures, labeled DCL-JUN, opened at 11.20 and saw a slight increase, closing at 11.25. The shares hit a low of 10.22 and a high of 10.30, with a total of 3,090,500 shares changing hands and a closing price recorded at 11.22.

The May futures, identified as DCL-MAY, demonstrated a similar trend. Opening at 11.10 and closing at 11.30, these shares traded between 10.05 and 10.16. A total of 4,302,000 shares were traded, and the closing price was noted as 11.05.
