Doctors’ issues to be resolved soon: Sindh Health minister

Karachi, November 20, 2014 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the issues of doctors will be resolved soon. The problem of the doctors including time scale and Board II need appropriate attention. This he said while talking to a delegation of Sindh Doctors Welfare Association here in his office on Thursday.

The delegation was comprised of Dr. Mujtaba Memon, Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Dr. Usman Mako and Dr. Nisar Ali shah. The members of the delegation apprised the Provincial Minister for health about their issues.

While assuring the delegation about his full support the provincial Minister said that Sindh health Department was fully committed to redress the grievances of the doctors and it was also the responsibility of the doctors to serve the patients dedicatedly. Action was being taken against the ghost doctors, the Minister added.

Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said that the departmental promotion committee should be held regularly in order to remove restlessness among the doctors and to serve the patients was a great service to the humanity.
