Islamabad, EFU Life Assurance Limited disclosed a significant corporate restructuring today, according to filings with the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The insurer has approved a merger with its wholly owned subsidiary, EFU Health Insurance Limited, which will take effect from May 1, 2024.
The merger was confirmed through a board resolution under Section 284(1) of the Companies Act, 2017. This strategic move will see EFU Health Insurance Limited fully integrated into EFU Life Assurance Limited, consolidating their operations into a single entity.
