Emirates announces daily flight to Sialkot – Airline to add three more flights to Sialkot from 2nd September 2015

Karachi, June 17, 2015 (PPI-OT): Emirates, a global connector of people, places and economies has announced that it will be introducing three additional flights to Sialkot beginning 2nd Sept. With these additional frequencies, Emirates will be offering a daily return flight between Dubai and Sialkot.

This daily flight will commence from 2nd September 2015 and will be operated by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft in a two-class configuration- 54 seats in Business Class and 183 in Economy Class. Sialkot, Pakistan is home to several industries that produce and export sports goods and clothing, gloves, surgical instruments, cutlery, ceramics and leather garments, whilst imports to the region focus on the supply of raw materials for manufacturing those products.

“Offering a daily flight between Dubai and Sialkot is certainly a welcome addition,” said Mr. Khalid Bardan, Vice President Emirates Pakistan. “Emirates and Pakistan share a special relationship which goes back nearly thirty years and these additional services continue to demonstrate the strong ties between the two countries and reinforces Dubai as a conveniently located hub for onward travel on Emirates’ network of over 140 destinations.”

Additional services to Sialkot from 2nd Sept 2015

Starting 2nd Sept., Emirates flight EK620 will depart Dubai at 04:20 and arrive in Sialkot at 08:35 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The return flight EK621 will leave Sialkot at 10:00, arriving in Dubai at 12:35.

Additional services to Karachi from 1st Sept 2015

Emirates will also add two more flights to Karachi. Beginning 1st Sept., Emirates flight EK618 will depart Dubai at 04:50 and arrive in Karachi at 08:00 on Monday and Tuesday. The return flight EK619 will leave Karachi at 09:40, arriving in Dubai at 10:55. These additional services to Karachi will bring the total number of daily flights to the city to seven, effective 1st September 2015.

Emirates also recently announced the addition of Multan as its sixth destination in Pakistan, commencing 1st August 2015. With the additional services to Sialkot and Karachi and the introduction of Multan to the network, Pakistan maintains its position as the airline’s fourth most highly served country worldwide with 85 return flights a week operating to and from Dubai.
