Karachi: This is to inform you that 149th Board of Directors Meeting of Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited will be held at Mexico City Mexico at 1000 hours (Mexico City Time) on Saturday, October 29, 2011 to consider the Quarterly Accounts for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

The meeting will start at 2000 hours Pakistan time, therefore, the Financial Results and any other announcement will be communicated to stock exchanges on Monday, October 31, 2011 from our Fax #051-9272519 or 051-9272316,

Share Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from November 21, 2011 to November 27, 2011 for entitlement of dividend, if any.

This is to notify that pursuant to provisions of clause xxvi of Code of Corporate Governance, close period relevant to the 149th Board of Directors Meeting scheduled on October 29, 2011 has been determined from October 22, 2011 to October 29, 2011, restricting the sales and purchase of shares by the Directors, CEO and Executives of the Company during this period.
