Fazaldad Human Rights Institute Islamabad and Vision Air International distributed Stationeries for needy and flood affectees students

Islamabad: Fazaldad Human Rights Institute Islamabad (FHRI) in collaboration with Vision Air International Islamabad has distributed School bag, books, note books, drawing books, pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and teacher’s kits among the flood affected and needy students of the Insaf Public school Basti Lal Mir, Kot Adu and District Muzaffar Garh of Southern Punjab. Mr. Amjad Khattak, Program Officer FHRI, visited the distribution point.

A simple but beautiful program was organized by the staff of Insaf Public School Basti Lal Mir, Kot Adu and District Muzaffar Garh. A huge audience was there including students, teachers, parents and community members. The school provides free education and scholarships to the poor and needy children of the flood stricken area of the Southern Punjab, which is the aim of this school. Program was started with the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat Sharif recited by the younger students of the school.

After the recitation of Holy Quran, Mr. Amjad Khattak, Program Officer FHRI, addressed the participants. He threw light on the importance of Education and the current situation of Pakistan and said that “It is our foremost duty to provide basic facilities to our children”. On another occasion he advised student that “You are responsible for your own future. It is your duty to study and If you want to compete the world you should to do hard work. Education is the way to bring peace and tolerance in the society”.

Mr. Riaz, Coordinator of Insaf Public School also addressed the students. He also insists on the importance of education and told about great people of the history who became famous in the world because of education. He also said that InshaAllah in future this school will become a well known institution of the area where we will provide the best quality education.

There were 150 students including girls and boys to whom the school bags, books, note books, drawing books, drawing kits, pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and teacher’s kits were going to be distributed. After the coordinator speech, the distribution was started by the FHRI staff with the help of local coordinator in a very efficient and effective way. Children were very excited to receive their educational kits and the parents, teachers and community members also. This distribution is funded by Vision Air International. Mr. Abdul Jabbar Regional Manager Vision Air International Islamabad has funded this activity which is exclusively for needy and flood affectees students. At the end of distribution, Ms. Tabassum, teacher and facilitator paid thanks to FHRI and Vision Air International on behalf of the staff, parents and all the community members.
