Federal Cabinet Authorizes ML-1 Railway Upgradation Talks with China

Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet has officially approved the commencement of negotiations between Pakistan Railways and its Chinese counterparts for the first phase of the ML-1 railway project upgradation. This decision came during a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the cabinet also instructed that the final Financial Commitment Agreement, once negotiated, must be presented again for approval. The Prime Minister updated the cabinet on his recent trip to Quetta, discussing efforts to strengthen law enforcement capabilities to combat terrorism effectively. Furthermore, Prime Minister Sharif lauded the initiatives of the Balochistan Government aimed at integrating Baloch youth into the national development framework.
