Srinagar: A significant fire in Srinagar, the capital of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has resulted in damage to a mosque and several residential properties.

According to Kashmir Media Service, The blaze erupted in the Umer Colony Eidgah area on Wednesday. It inflicted considerable damage on a local mosque and numerous homes in the vicinity. Emergency services were promptly deployed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The incident has prompted widespread shock and concern among the local population, with community members rallying to support those impacted by the disaster.
