Kalat Division’s New Commissioner Emphasizes Public Service Commitment in Khuzdar

Khuzdar: Additional Commissioner of Kalat Division, Ijaz Ahmad Jafar, recently emphasized the essential role of government officials in addressing public issues and enhancing service delivery. This statement was made during a tariff meeting where he took up his new role, urging government employees to prioritize public service as their core responsibility.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Commissioner Jafar articulated the expectations from government staff during his address, highlighting that serving the community effectively is a fundamental duty because their salaries and benefits are funded by the public. Assistant Commissioner (Political) Nizam Rahim Baloch and various superintendents and staff members of the Commissioner Kalat Division office were present at the meeting.

Commissioner Jafar pointed out that residents from distant areas often visit the Commissioner’s Office with their grievances, and it is the duty of the office staff to address these issues promptly and efficiently. He underscored that public service should be embraced not just as a job but as a moral obligation of the government workforce.
