The incident occurred on Thursday and involved a series of blasts that devastated the facility.

According to Kashmir Media Service, local police reported that the explosion was triggered during the mixing of highly flammable chemicals used in the manufacture of fancy variety crackers. The intensity of the explosions demolished seven warehouses, which housed significant quantities of finished crackers and chemicals. Initial findings suggest that friction during the chemical handling process ignited the fire, although a full investigation is underway to determine the precise cause.
