Former hockey team captain Muhammad Saqlain visits Hailey College of Banking & Finance

Lahore: Olympian and former Captain Pakistan Hockey team Muhammad Saqlain visited the Punjab University Hailey College of Banking & Finance (HCBF) and called on Principal Prof Dr Khawaj Amjad Saeed. Expressing his views, Muhammad Saqlain said PU had been playing effective role in promoting hockey by providing maximum facilities to students. He said encouraging players and provision of facilities would help promote hockey in the country. He congratulated Dr Amjad Saeed on selection of six college players in PU hockey team and appointment of Hafiz Shah Rukh Tariq as captain of the team. He expressed his satisfaction on provision of facilities to players by the College Principal and said it would promote new talent. College Principal Prof Dr. Khwaja Amjad Saeed thanked Muhammad Saqlain for providing coaching and guidance to college players. He said PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, who is also hockey player, had been providing all-out facilities to promote the national game. College Director Sports Muhammad Amjad and players including Shah Rukh, Malik Usman, Asad Ahmad, Zaheer Baber, Muhammad Umer, Muhammad Sufyan and Hannan.
