Free Zone Agriculture Industrial Park opens in Gwadar

Gwadar, The Free Zone Agriculture Industrial Park was officially inaugurated in Gwadar, marking a significant step in the city’s development efforts supported by China.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh, who spoke at the inaugural ceremony, highlighted the government’s commitment to rapidly completing various infrastructure projects in Gwadar.

He noted the completion of several key projects, including a 100 MW electricity project, the construction of dams, roads, hospitals, and particularly a desalination plant within the free zone. This plant, supported by China, is designed to provide 12 lakh gallons of water daily to the residents of Gwadar. The federal and provincial governments are jointly focused on expediting the completion of these development projects.
