Funeral for Martyred Constable Muhammad Ishaq Held in Rahim Yar Khan

Rahim Yar Khan, The funeral prayers for Constable Muhammad Ishaq, who was killed in a confrontation with dacoits, were held at Sadiq Shaheed Police Lines in Rahim Yar Khan.

According to Punjab Police, the ceremony was attended by Additional IG South Punjab Muhammad Kamran Khan, DPO Imran Ahmad Malik, and other high-ranking officials from the police and Rangers, as well as family members, representatives from the district administration, civil institutions, political figures, media, and a large number of citizens. A smart contingent of police officers presented a salute to the martyr, honoring his bravery and sacrifice.

Constable Ishaq had been critically injured during an encounter in the Sheedani area and succumbed to his injuries. His death has been widely mourned, with senior officials acknowledging his courage and dedication to duty. Additional IG Kamran Khan reiterated the department’s commitment to supporting the bereaved family and assured that efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice are underway. The martyr’s body was subsequently transported to his native area for burial with full state honors.
