Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw Minister for Culture and Information, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that Ghani Khan possessed an enchanting and multi dimensional personality having qualities of poet, historian, critical, artist, sculptor and a good engineer at the same time.

This he said while addressing as chief guest at function held by Provincial Cultural Department to commemorate the late eminent poet in Charsadda the other day. Known literary figures presented their papers and paid rich tributes to Ghani Khan on this occasion.

Provincial Minister for Science and Technology Muhammad Ayub Khan and ANP Vice President Tajuddin Khan were also present on this occasion.

Mian Iftikhar said that Ghani Khan was not an ordinary being and was no less than any great personality of the world. He said that Ghani Khan was perhaps unhappy with every character of the society and added that he would have nicely depicted the prevailing painful situation of Pakhtuns, had he been living.

He said that in all walks of life especially in literature a programme namely “Face off and Image maker” would be held in Peshawar and Islamabad.

The Information Minister said that he wished to live till the moment all terrorists end up and normalcy return to the motherland.
