Karachi, The Glass & Ceramics sector experienced a substantial decrease in its market index, according to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The sector, with a market capitalization of Rs. 62,792,918,404, saw a sharp decline in its index by 7,729,042.84 points, from 622,020,946.61 to 614,291,903.77. Despite the dramatic index drop, the sector recorded a traded value of Rs. 39,609,676.32 from a turnover of 2,904,659 shares, indicating a significant level of activity. The Glass & Ceramics sector accounted for 0.616% of the total market capitalization and 0.651% of the total turnover.
