Islamabad: Google for Startups has unveiled plans to establish an ‘AI Academy’ aimed at fostering the growth and development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Pakistan and the broader Asia Pacific region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this initiative marks the first major success of the Google Chrome Book initiative and paves the way for future projects. The AI Academy is designed to facilitate new cross-border partnerships, particularly under the Special Investment Facilitation Council, enhancing the exchange of innovative ideas and resources.

The launch of the AI Academy is a strategic move by Google for Startups to position Pakistan as a global hub for AI development within the Asia-Pacific, promising significant advancements in technology and industry collaborations.
