Government Removes Dr. Aliya Hashmi Khan from Bank of Khyber Board

Karachi: In a swift administrative move, Dr. Aliya Hashmi Khan has been removed from her position as a Director of the Bank of Khyber, effective immediately. The decision, enacted through a notification issued by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on July 5, 2024, marks a significant change in the bank’s board composition.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notification did not specify the reasons behind Dr. Khan’s removal from the board.
