Government to Initiate Margalla Trail Patrol in Islamabad

Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced today that the government will launch the Margalla Trail Patrol to enhance security and protection for the scenic trails of the Margalla Hills. This initiative is particularly aimed at ensuring the safety of foreign visitors who frequent these popular natural sites.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Naqvi revealed in a statement on the social media platform X that the new security measures will include trail bikes, horse patrols, and foot patrols. This move underscores the government’s commitment to safeguarding both the natural beauty of the Margalla Hills and the well-being of its visitors.
