Abbottabad: A severe rainfall event on July 30, 2024, has resulted in property damage and personal injuries in the district of Abbottabad, underlining the persistent challenges posed by extreme weather conditions in the region.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the incident specifically affected residents in the area of Badial. Notable damages include the homes of Niaz, a resident of Badial, and Riaz Khan, son of Ali Khan. Niaz’s incident led to one injury, while the incident at Riaz Khan’s home resulted in injuries to two individuals.
