Hinopak Motors Announces 39th Annual General Meeting with Virtual Attendance Option

Karachi: Hinopak Motors Limited has scheduled its 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for July 25, 2024, at the company’s registered office in Karachi, with provisions made for shareholders to participate both in person and virtually.

The AGM will address the adoption of audited financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2024, alongside the reports of the directors and auditors, appointment of auditors for the upcoming year, and other businesses permissible under the chair’s approval. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these agenda items are crucial for the company’s compliance and future planning.

In response to ongoing health and safety concerns, Hinopak Motors has enhanced accessibility for its shareholders by arranging an option to attend the AGM through a video link facility. Shareholders interested in virtual participation are required to register by July 18, 2024, providing details such as name, folio/CDC number, number of shares held, CNIC, cell number, and registered email ID to info@hinopak.com. Detailed procedures for online attendance will be communicated directly to registered shareholders and made available on the company’s website under the investor relations section.

The Share Transfer Books of the company will remain closed from July 18 to July 25, 2024, for the purpose of determining the shareholders eligible to attend and vote at the AGM. The company has also issued reminders for shareholders to update their CNIC and bank details to facilitate electronic dividend payments, in compliance with the Companies Act, 2017.

Hinopak Motors encourages its members to participate in the AGM through video link or by proxy to ensure broad shareholder engagement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
