House Collapses in Abbottabad Due to Heavy Rain and Landsliding, No Casualties Reported

Abbottabad: A house in the Mohalla Dakhan area of Abbottabad collapsed on August 30, 2024, following heavy rainfall and landsliding incidents. Fortunately, there were no human casualties reported from the incident.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority,” the house owned by Mr. Muhammad Nisar, son of Shah Zaman, was severely impacted due to the adverse weather conditions prevalent in the region on that day. Despite the significant damage to the property, all occupants were unharmed.

The PDMA continues to monitor the situation across the region as the weather conditions persist, urging residents in vulnerable areas to take necessary precautions. The authority is also coordinating with local emergency services to provide assistance and ensure the safety of the residents in affected areas.
