IG Punjab Awards DSP Sohail Hussain Kazmi with Ghazi Medal for Bravery

Lahore, In a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, DSP Sohail Hussain Kazmi was honored by Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for his exceptional bravery and service. DSP Kazmi was awarded the prestigious Ghazi Medal and will have his name inscribed on the Ghazi Wall within the office premises, commemorating his valor.

According to Punjab Police, DSP Kazmi displayed remarkable courage during a period of violent protests by a banned organization. Despite being subjected to severe physical assault by agitators, he maintained his duty with unwavering dedication. The IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar personally lauded DSP Kazmi for his steadfastness and exemplary commitment to his role in law enforcement.

The ceremony was a family affair, with DSP Kazmi’s wife, son, and daughter-in-law in attendance, alongside Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, AIG Inspection Shaista Nadeem, and other officers, signifying the department’s collective support and recognition of its officers’ sacrifices.
