Kashmir Universities Postpone Exams Amid Modi’s Visit

Srinagar, In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir today, both the University of Kashmir and the Central University of Kashmir have announced the postponement of all examinations that were scheduled for the day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Assistant Controller of Examination at Kashmir University released a statement informing students and faculty that the university’s exams slated for today would be deferred. The announcement highlighted that new dates for these examinations would be communicated in due course.

Similarly, the Central University of Kashmir issued a communiqué indicating the postponement of their exams scheduled for March 7, 2024. The notice assured that the revised schedule for the affected examinations would be notified at a later date.

This decision reflects the significant impact of Prime Minister Modi’s visit on the region’s daily activities, particularly in the educational sector, where both universities have taken measures to adjust their academic calendars in light of the event.
