IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Commits to Enhancing Welfare of Police Force and Their Families

Lahore, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar reiterated his commitment to the welfare of police personnel and their families, emphasizing that their well-being is a top priority. This affirmation came during a series of meetings with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, where personal and professional issues were addressed.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Anwar directed his officers to ensure close liaison with their subordinates and to address their concerns promptly to enable them to focus on their primary responsibilities of maintaining law and order. Specific cases discussed included the provision of medical bill assistance for a constable from Rawalpindi and the review of a promotion request for a sub-inspector on merit. Additionally, immediate action was ordered on various applications, including those related to service matters and welfare support for the families of martyred officers.

The IG Punjab’s directive underscores a management philosophy that prioritizes immediate resolution of issues, enhancing morale, and ensuring that officers are well-supported both professionally and personally.
