IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Facilitates Housing for Martyred Policeman’s Family

Dera Ghazi Khan: In a significant gesture of support for the families of police martyrs, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has provided a house to the family of Shaheed Constable Ghulam Hassan. The home, located in the Gulberg Housing Scheme of Dera Ghazi Khan, marks a continuation of efforts by the Punjab Police to assist families of officers who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

According to Punjab Police, the residence, valued at one crore 35 lakh rupees, is equipped with all necessary amenities to offer a stable and secure environment for Constable Hassan’s wife, two daughters, and three sons. Constable Hassan was killed in a shootout with criminals on June 9 last year, and this initiative is part of a broader commitment by IG Punjab to honor the sacrifices of police officials. Dr. Anwar emphasized that the bravery and sacrifice of Shaheed Constable Ghulam Hassan will always be remembered and that the Punjab Police remains dedicated to supporting over 1600 martyred and 1700 injured officers’ families.
