Imam of Masjid Al-Nabawi Begins Week-long Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad: Dr. Salah Bin Mohammad Al-Budair, the Imam of Masjid Al-Nabawi, has commenced a week-long visit to Pakistan, marked by a series of significant meetings and religious engagements, including leading the Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Al-Budair was warmly received at the airport by Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al Malkiy, and Religious Affairs Secretary Zulfiqar Haider. During his stay, he will engage with top Pakistani leaders such as President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as well as local religious scholars.

The visit is expected to strengthen the religious and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the spiritual connections through high-profile religious and governmental interactions.
