Islamabad, During a recent press briefing, Julie Kozack, Director of the Communications Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), discussed various global economic issues, including the IMF’s commitment to Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia, and the IMF’s engagement with countries facing economic challenges. The briefing covered a range of topics from the upcoming IMF Spring Meetings to specific country programs and global economic forecasts.

According to International Monetary Fund, Kozack opened the briefing with announcements about the schedule and agenda for the IMF’s 2024 Spring Meetings, including the Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva’s keynote speech and subsequent discussions. The meetings are set to focus on the World Economic Outlook, the Global Financial Stability Report, and other critical economic assessments.
