Srinagar, In a strong message against those supporting the Hindutva agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), local civil society members have voiced their unwavering resolve to resist India’s unlawful occupation and reject any form of betrayal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, prominent figures such as Dr. Zubair Ahmed, Muhammad Furhan, Muhammad Iqbal Shaheen, and Syed Haider Hussain, during their media interactions in Srinagar, explicitly stated that Kashmiris would persist in their struggle against the Indian occupation. They specifically targeted those within the region collaborating with the BJP and RSS, branding them as traitors and warning them of their inevitable downfall.
The civil society members criticized the BJP for exploiting these individuals to further its anti-Muslim objectives in Kashmir, asserting that such collaborators would only find their legacy consigned to oblivion. They emphasized that the Kashmiri populace would not accept the presence of BJP-RSS supporters in IIOJK, highlighting the historical pattern of betrayal and broken promises by India towards the Kashmiris, including those who once aligned with its cause.
The statement underlines a collective sentiment within the Kashmiri community to thwart any attempts by the Modi administration to foster local support for its agenda, maintaining that the resistance against Indian dominion will continue until IIOJK secures its liberation.
