Indian Paramilitary Officer Commits Suicide in Manipur

Imphal: In a distressing incident in Manipur, an Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Sub-Inspector took his own life in the Jiribam Police Station area of the state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the officer, identified as Prasanna Kumar Deka of the 20 Bn C Company, committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle. The reasons behind his action remain unclear, as the state continues to grapple with ongoing violence and tensions.
