Indian Troops Conduct Search Operations in Jammu

Jammu: Indian military forces initiated cordon and search operations within the Jammu district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, heightening tensions in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during these operations, troops opened fire in the Akhnoor and Sunderbani areas. The search operations were reported to be extensive and ongoing, with local police officials confirming the heightened activity.

This increase in military presence and operational intensity comes as security measures are strengthened throughout Jammu and Kashmir on the anniversary of the Indian government’s decision to revoke Articles 370 and 35 A, which previously granted special status to the region.
