Inspector General Police Sindh directs Deputy Inspector Generals’ of Karachi to immediately take cognizance of a news report regarding narcotics and other social evil dens in city

Karachi, April 26, 2016 (PPI-OT):IGP Sindh A. D. Khawaja has directed all Zonal DIGs of Karachi to immediately take cognizance of a news report regarding narcotics and other social evil dens in the city. He issued directive enquire into the contents of news report and take strict action against those involved. He further issued instructions to District SSPs to ensure comprehensive measures to check the nuisance. “Slackness and irresponsibility in this regard will not be tolerated at all”, he added. IGP also directed to strengthen Intelligence Collection Network at PS and ensure streamlining of Intelligence sharing with other LEAs.
