International Labour Day Focuses on Safety and Health Amidst Climate Change

Karachi, Today International Labour Day is being observed worldwide with activities aimed at reinforcing the commitment to workers’ rights, focusing particularly on improving workplace safety and health in the context of climate change.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this year’s theme addresses the need to adapt workplaces to be resilient against the impacts of climate change. Events such as conferences, seminars, marches, and walks are being organized by various public and private entities across the globe. These activities are designed to honor the contributions and sacrifices of laborers, emphasizing the critical importance of creating safer and healthier working environments.
