Islamabad Police Department Promotes 120 Head Constables Following Departmental Review

Islamabad, In a recent meeting led by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of the Islamabad Police, 120 Head Constables were recommended for promotion to Assistant Sub-Inspectors, enhancing the leadership within the force.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, “The meeting, chaired by DIG Headquarters Dr. Syed Mushtaq Tanveer, involved thorough reviews of service records for the available Assistant Sub-Inspector positions.” The promotions, pending approval from IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, are part of a broader initiative to advance officers with commendable service histories.

IG Islamabad emphasized the fundamental right of promotion for every officer, stating that the well-being of the police force remains a top priority. He also announced that the families of the promoted officers would be invited to a special ranking ceremony, further fostering community and morale within the force.

The promotions follow previous advancements within the force, demonstrating a continuous commitment to recognizing and rewarding professional excellence among Islamabad’s police officers.
