Islamabad Police Issue Security Guidelines for Eid Holiday Travelers

Islamabad, The Islamabad Capital Police, through DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, has issued essential security guidelines for residents of the federal capital planning to visit their hometowns during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. The advice comes as part of an effort to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity in their absence.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Bukhari, in a video message, stressed the importance of making appropriate security arrangements before leaving for the Eid holidays. Residents are advised to ensure proper lighting in and around their houses, lock all gates and doors, install CCTV cameras, and safely store valuable items. Moreover, citizens are encouraged to make their homes appear occupied, inform the local police station of their absence, and secure all windows and entry points. Bukhari reassured that the police would utilize all resources to protect the properties and lives of the residents during this period.
