Italian Culinary Classics to take place at Avari Towers

Karachi, November 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): Classical Interlude (Intermezzo) and an Italian food festival will thrill Karachiites in November as these are some of the activities chalked out at the Italian Cultural Week to be observed in Karachi from November 17th to 21st , 2013.This was stated by the Consul of Italy Mr.Roberto Franceschinis, and General Manager of Avari Towers, Mr.Peter Forsyth, at a joint press conference at hotel premises.

The Italian Culinary Classics will take place at Avari Towers, Asia Live restaurant followed by a Classical Musical Interlude (Intermezzo) in Cinnamon Lounge by Maestro Marco Giliberti accompanied by Tenor Mariano Sanfilippo. To add more flavour to this festival, an Italian Chef, Mr Giancarlo Piccarreta will be bringing all the major ingredients from Italy to acquaint Pakistani connoisseurs with the genuine taste and quality of Italian food.

Mr.Roberto Franceschinis, added that The Italian Consulate will organize a concert on Tuesday November 19 in collaboration with the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) at their venue. The concert will be a thrilling evening of fusion music between the East and the West and will give a chance to Italian musicians to interact with Pakistani artists and music lovers.

The Italian Cultural Week is being organized in collaboration with Avari Hotels and sponsored by Barclays Pakistan and Qatar Airways. Qatar Airways is also offering two return tickets by raffle to the participants.
