Lahore: Jauharabad Sugar Mills Limited has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on July 27, 2024, at the company’s Registered Office in Lahore to deliberate and potentially approve the un-audited condensed interim financial statements for the third quarter and the first nine months of the fiscal year, which concluded on June 30, 2024.
The upcoming board meeting is a routine part of the company’s financial oversight, ensuring that Jauharabad Sugar Mills adheres to corporate governance standards and provides transparent financial disclosures to its stakeholders. This meeting is particularly significant as it will review the company’s financial performance during a substantial portion of the fiscal year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has also declared a “Closed Period” from July 20, 2024, to July 27, 2024. During these eight days, no director, CEO, or executive of Jauharabad Sugar Mills is permitted to buy or sell company shares, directly or indirectly. This restriction is in compliance with Clause 5.6.4 of the Rule Book of the Exchange, designed to prevent insider trading and ensure fairness in the handling of sensitive financial information prior to its public release.
