JKSA Demands Investigation into Kashmiri Student’s Death in Punjab

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) has called for an investigation into the death of Imaad Ahmad Sheikh, a Kashmiri student studying at CGC College in Mohali, Punjab. The association has expressed concerns over the circumstances surrounding his death and is seeking clarity and justice.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Imaad Ahmad Sheikh, a second-year graduate student originally from Baramulla, was reported dead under mysterious circumstances. Osheeba Bashir, the National Media Coordinator for the JKSA, emphasized the need for a thorough and impartial investigation to determine the cause of death and to ensure that the incident is fully understood and addressed.

The JKSA has formally requested the intervention of authorities to ensure that the investigation is conducted fairly and reaches a logical conclusion, highlighting the importance of transparency and justice in dealing with such incidents involving students away from their home regions.
