Kachhi District Moves to Solar Energy for Tube Wells under Chief Secretary’s Directives

Kachhi: Deputy Commissioner Kachhi, Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch, chaired a pivotal meeting on transitioning electric tube wells to solar power systems, following directives from the Chief Secretary of Balochistan.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included key regional officials such as Superintendent Police District Kachhi Captain Retired Dost Muhammad Bugti, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Sattar Mengal, and representatives from various administrative and agricultural sectors.

Discussions focused on dismantling illegal agricultural tube wells and shifting legally connected ones to solar energy. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in the region. Detailed instructions were issued to ensure the timely completion of the transition, with a final report to be prepared for further review and action by the Chief Secretary.
